When it comes to ad buying there were two giants fighting for business: Google and Facebook. NOW, with the launch of Amazon’s Self-Serve DSP (demand-side platform), the third sleeping giant has awoken!

  • 50% of customers in the US start their product search with Amazon first. Compare that to the 35% of customers that start with Google!
  • 96% of consumers surveyed had visited Amazon within the year.
  • Amazon averages more than 200 million unique visitors per month.
  • Amazon makes up 49% of all online retail spend in the US.

Now that we’ve given you some of the details on the reasons WHY, let’s get to the fun part… We can advertise YOUR business on Amazon! If that’s not something to shout about, we don’t know what is!

There are currently 150 million Amazon Prime subscribers (VentureBeat,2020). 20% of Amazon Prime members said they shopped on Amazon a few times per week and 7% saying that they did so on an (almost) daily basis! That’s a whole lot of time spent shopping, which makes since on why Amazon is considered the most popular shopping app in the United States with 150.6 million mobile users.
