Welcome to the 2015 Holiday season, the most connected season yet! We always talk about the importance of your website being mobile friendly (we can help you with that), but now it’s more important than ever as customers are shopping on the small screen! Think of those “I want to buy moments” and what do we do? We look to our smartphones for instant gratification!
Last year nearly one TRILLION dollars of retail sales were made on mobile devices. And believe it or not, holiday shopping now begins long before Black Friday. If you haven’t already, it’s time to jump on the mobile bandwagon. With smartphones featuring larger screens and high speed data plans, you can expect customers to check product availability, make dinner reservations and more right from the palm of their hands.
We used to know Black Friday as mass chaos, everyone running into the stores to grab the hottest deals. Those days are over, for the most part. Consumers are now taking advantage of limited time offers (you guessed it) right from their smartphones. Why run to the store when you can get the same deal online? If you haven’t already, it’s time to evaluate your in-store inventory versus your online inventory.
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday behind us, you can still have great success this Holiday Season on the small screen. Think BIG when reaching your target audience. Just because they are not in-store, doesn’t mean that they are not online looking for a deal. The question is, what will you offer to get your customers to come your way online?
